Settings & Controls

The Nouncify Settings dashboard is your central hub for controlling your identity, privacy, and security on the platform. Navigate to the Settings tab to access the following configuration panels:

Dashboard

The main overview of your account, providing handy links to your public profile, Circles dashboard, the Deep Dive Podcast, and the Help Center.

Individual profile

Manage how you present yourself to the world:

• Core Identity: Update your First Name, Last Name, and Display Name.
• Avatar: Upload or change your profile picture.
• Name Insights: View and manually edit the AI-generated phonetic spelling and cultural origin of your name.

Recordings

Control your high-fidelity audio presence:

• Name Recording: Record up to a 10-second pronunciation of your name.
• Bio Recording: Record up to a 15-second audio bio and toggle its visibility on your public profile.

vCard settings

Your Nouncify profile acts as a digital business card:

• Toggle vCard: Enable or disable the “Save Contact” button on your profile.
• Contact Info: Choose whether to include your email address, phone number, and profile photo in the downloadable .vcf file.

Data & Privacy

Granular control over who can see your identity and how it is used:

• Discoverability: Toggle whether your profile appears in search engines and Nouncify internal search.
• Public Profile: Completely hide your profile from public view (requires authentication to view).
• AI Opt-Out: Explicitly restrict Nouncify from using your voice recordings for any internal AI model training.
• Recording Visibility: Restrict who can listen to your audio (e.g., Everyone vs. Authenticated Users Only).

Edit your link

Claim your unique piece of real estate on the web. Configure and update your nouncify.com/[slug] URL to make sharing your identity seamless.

Sign-in & security

Protect your account with modern security features:

• Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): Enable TOTP-based 2FA using an authenticator app (e.g., Google Authenticator, Authy).
• Connected Accounts: Disconnect your linked Google account if you previously authenticated via social login.

Manage account

View your current subscription tier (Free, Pro, Business), access the billing portal to manage add-ons, or permanently delete your Nouncify account.

Activity settings

Control the types of communications you receive from Nouncify. You can selectively enable alerts for the App or via Email:

• Profile & Network: Weekly leaderboard updates and notifications when someone listens to your name or downloads your vCard.
• Circles: Notifications for new members joining your hosted Circles.
• Entities: Alerts when someone listens to your AI Entity’s name.
• Marketing: News, product announcements, and helpful tips.
• Account & Security: Mission-critical platform communications (e.g., security alerts, billing). These are mandatory and cannot be disabled.
